Symptoms of Anxiety

  • somatic/body-based sensations of feeling “keyed up,”rapid breathing or heart rate

  • specific areas of tension or tightness in body

  • difficulting “settling”

  • rumination and intrusive thoughts

  • fixations or obsessive thinking or actions

  • insomnia

  • somatic illness

  • persistent ambivalence about your relationship or continually replaying future and past events in your mind




Symptoms of Codependency

  • people pleasing/fawning

  • continually putting the needs of others before your own

  • hypervigilance focused on the emotional or physical wellbeing and responses of others

  • difficulty handling conflict or perceived criticism

  • a long standing disconnection from your own needs, desires, and boundaries.  


Symptoms of Depression 

  • sleeping too much or sleeping too little

  • changes in appetite

  • increased irritability

  • restlessness

  • feelings of hopelessness

  • poor self worth or self image

  • avoidance of social interactions or otherwise pleasurable activities

  • feelings of numbness or disconnection

  • difficulty “going with the flow” when things don’t go as planned

  • excessive anger or criticism of others


Symptoms of Trauma

Trauma events and ruptures in your early attachment period and with family of origin. 


Symptoms of Relational and Attachment Challenges 

  • history of distressing relationship patterns

  • choosing the same “wrong” partner over and over again

  • finding reasons to leave as soon as a relationship becomes more close and intimate

  • difficulty trusting your partner or receiving and believing their reassurance despite your desire for it

  • persistent worries about your partner abandoning or rejecting you, during times of distress

  • when in distress you act in ways that may be harmful to yourself or your partner

  • becoming too attached to your partners too quickly
